Fino's Orangery:
Fino's Orangery, which is within a high-vaulted glass atrium, was
largely destroyed by the Docklands IRA bomb and had to be rebuilt.
Owner Stefano Fiori was anxious to ensure that the new-look restaurant
would have a heating system which would keep diners comfortable even
in the draughtiest of seats. He turned to quartz heater specialists,
Tansun Ltd, who provided a solution which could meet his every need.
They installed eight of their fixed Apollo heaters mounted eight metres
high onto structural pillars. The quartz heaters, which act by radiating
heat, warm the diners and not the spaces around them, therefore providing
an economical and environmentally friendly solution to the restaurant's
specific needs.
Stefano said: " We have been delighted with them. We aim to provide
a relaxed continental style of dining to our customers which imitates
as closely as possible the feeling of dining out of doors. We used
them throughout last winter and as we approach the long dark days
again, I am confident that the restaurant will remain warm and packed,
whatever the weather outside."
